Please join us for the annual 2009 Terry Cornwell Memorial Tennis Tournament, during the St Johns Mint Festival. This year’s tournament, taking place at the St. Johns High School tennis courts, HAS A NEW FORMAT. All juniors, male singles and female doubles competition begins on Friday, August 14th. Female singles, male doubles and mixed doubles competition all begin on Saturday, August 15th. Unfinished matches will be played on Sunday, August 16th.

The entry fee is $20 plus one can of new tennis balls for each singles event; and $30 per team plus 2 cans of tennis balls for each doubles team. All proceeds go to the Kiwanis Club of St. Johns to help fund their numerous community projects. In fact, every dollar of your entry fee goes toward these projects as the cost of hosting the tournament comes from the generosity of local sponsors. Proceeds from the optional parking pass support the high school band and athletics.

There is a charge for parking in the high school parking lot, which is next to the tennis courts.  You can save money by obtaining a weekend parking pass by sending $4.00 with the registration. If they don’t obtain a pass, they will be charged $3.00 for each time they enter to play tennis.  Proceeds for the optional parking pass support high school band and athletics.

Entry fees must be received before Wednesday August 5^th.  Cancellations after August 6^th will be acknowledged as contributions to St. Johns Kiwanis.

Proceeds from  the  Terry Cornwell Memorial Tennis Tournament are used for Kiwanis community projects.
